He cares for her, but there’s no pressure on her to return his feelings and it doesn’t seem like he’s upset by the fact that she’s not quite in the same place as him. Hades is more sure of his feelings for the MC than the MC is sure of her feelings for Hades, and this is handled very well. One of the best things about this is that Hades doesn’t seem at all bothered by her saving him, and he seems to genuinely like the MC, at least in part, because she can take care of herself (and occasionally him). Also, while the danger is supernatural in nature, and Hades does end up saving the MC, the MC also saves Hades.Hades wishes to protect the MC from danger, but the game does an amazing job of showing that while he is protective, he also acknowledges that the MC is genuinely capable. He’s focused, determined, and a workaholic, but he’s also genuinely warm and compassionate, which you see early in his storyline. He’s a god, and he takes a lot of responsibilities onto himself – oftentimes responsibilities that aren’t his. The first thing the MC notices about Hades, other than how attractive he is, is how hardworking he is.Hades is important, but the story also has the MC learning more about herself. I love how her famous mother and her mother’s past are explored in this storyline. Her LI might be a god, but she’s smart and has access to the powerful H.E.R.A database, which means she’s able to actively contribute to the plot. While it’s obvious that she’s attracted to Hades early on in the story, it doesn’t detract from the work she does. Her lack of romance doesn’t depress her, and while she’s very work focused, she has good friends and relationships with others. The MC has obviously chosen to focus on her career over romance or personal relationships, but she’s not shown to be a complete failure. Her job working with H.E.R.A is interesting, and while she’s not in a particularly powerful position with the company, she’s a smart and working her way up.She knows her strengths and her weaknesses, and she does well with what she has. She’s not all powerful, which we definitely see given that most of her interactions are with gods and she’s not a god, but she’s capable, and it never feels like she’s completely useless or a liability. She’s smart, good at her job, hardworking, and ambitious. The summit does not go as planned, and the MC has to help Hades rescue the gods of Olympus and stop a plot of a group that wishes to become even more powerful than the gods of Olympus. She chooses to journey to Olympus and help Hades prepare for the summit. Because of the MC’s hard work and her boss’ trust in her, the MC is allowed to choose which of the currently open cases that are available that she wishes to work on. There’s a large summit where all the gods are gathering, and because of this, everyone at H.E.R.A is incredibly busy. (Hell and Earth Relations Agency) in a world where the gods and creatures of mythology are very real.
